Which Is Stronger Hydrocodone Apap 5-500 Or Hydrocodone Apap 5-325 Tablets

My doctor just switched my vicoden and i wanted to know which is stronger the 5-500 pills or the 5-325 pills?

If you are asking about the Hydrocodone, then neither is stronger, at 5mgs, they are both the same strength.

The only thing different about them is the amount of APAP, which is medical speak for Acetaminophen. The one that says 325 only contains 325mgs of it and the one that says 500 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

Yes I have had help for at least 2yrs now and have had no problems with pain issues but I have been recently diagnosed with acute hep b which is causing my liver to go into acute liver failure and I am in intolerable pain now. I am assuming from the liver failure. I can not take the norcos because of the Tylenol in them. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should ask my doctor to prescribe me for my pain. What would be my best option. Thank you
