Hello, Lynn! How are you? I'm sorry that you're having a problem finding your medication.

However, there is no listing of pharmacies according to what they have in stock that I can refer to for you.

The fact that were are now into the time of year when shortages of controlled substances usually occur further complicates matters. There are mandatory manufacturing limits and once a manufacturer reaches their allotted limit, they cannot manufacture any new product, until after the new year. Demand usually exceeds supply and we end up with a shortage for the last few months of the year.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

The best suggestion I can make is to ask your pharmacist what they do have in stock and then see if your doctor can prescribe that, in the meantime.

Does anyone else have any suggestions or ideas?
