Where Can I Get Filled In For Oxycodone

To anyone LEGITLY needing OXYCODONE, and have a legitimate prescription should have NO reason to deal with all the BULLS*** going on with FDA regulations. It is not the job of a pharmacist to BE a detective. You should be supplying patients in need of their MED , 100 % of the time in stock!! Knowing that people need this physically addictive medication to coup with pain is no PICNIC. How can you tell somebody its not in stock - come back in a few days.... All I have seen in 3 months of taking oxycodone 10 mg is discrimination to the fullest. Which is fine, what goes around comes around. I just want my quality of life back , stop judging us ! Or you day of judgment will come sooner than later trust ME !

I have the same issue when i fill my m.s. contin and oxy, i have a bunch of tattoos and i get treated so poorly by Fry's
My tolerance built up and I always run short.
When i fill a few days early, i am treated even worse!

At least you understand that it is not the pharmacies that are responsible for this mayhem, it is the Federal regulators with all their new rules and regulations.

The new laws regulate how not only the amount of schedule II drugs that can be ordered at one time but also the delivery date, so multiple pharmacies cannot receive deliveries on the same day. In my small town that means our Walmart pharmacy runs out on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning and does not get a shipment before Friday or Saturday evening. No pharmacy in our town gets a shipment on the same day. The pharmacies are also not taking new patients with narcotic prescriptions because they all running out before their next shipment arrives.

What this has meant for me is that my original refill date for my Norco has been pushed in the last few months from the original Nov 20th of the month to now March 2nd.

When I picked up my script today I was told that the recent new regs implemented 3 weeks ago, requires the pharmacy to verify that the patient can have the prescription refilled. This means they have to verify the prescription was written and approved by the doctor, then verify that it is time for the prescription to be refilled and you have not had another narcotic prescription filled at any other pharmacy. This is time consuming for pharmacy staff when you consider how many patients they have with narcotic prescriptions. My guess is that we will see the cost for this extra pharmacy work end up in the price of our medications.

While I understand there were unscrupulous physicians and patients that caused the problems, the Feds have really gone overboard with the regulations and are now hurting those of us with legitimate chronic pain syndrome. We are paying the price for the deeds of the greedy drug abusers/dealers and unscrupulous doctors.

I have a feeling this is going to get a lot worse! I am going to talk to my PM and see if there is something besides Norco she can prescribe, since Norco seems to be the biggest narcotic on the Feds hit list. Hopefully there is something on the Schedule III list that will work for me along with the Tumeric and Magnesium I also take.
