Where Can I Fill My Oxycontin 60 Mg In Flint Michigan

I have a rx for 60 mg oxycontin and I can't find a pharmacy to fill. I just took last one and I don't want to get sick. Please help. Pharmacy I usually use is out. Thanx

Go to the closest ER or urgent care WOTH your prescription and tell the doc what you said here. It is absolutely INSANE that pharmacies will not even order oxycontin on an as needed basis.....for example, patients of theirs they KNOW will need it every month and ordering it when a new patient requests it! This whole drug thing is BS! Pretty soon we are going to be down to plain old Tylenol and whiskey....I know, great combo, right? NOT! I am a medical professional working toward my BSN and then hopefully Nurse Practitioner.....still, I will probably have no rights to see a chronic pain patient and prescribe what is necessary just like ALL of our clinics in my area unless they are privately owned. Every clinic is sending CP patients to pain management clinics even if they have been there before and they couldn't help! ( like in my 70 yr old mothers case) although I found a doctor an hour away to help her! This is getting so unbelievable! No kidding, I know one case of a doc around here who would prescribe, as he IS a doc with THAT right, left his clinic because they suddenly changed the rules of chronic pain patients, he finally, after 6 months took a job with another huge clinic and will not take on CP patients. If he didn't agree to that he would not be working! He was one of the best because he actually tried to help and didn't just prescribe meds but treatments as well for CP. It's crazy stuff out there! Soon, they will be adding naltrexone to all ER ( extended release) and IR ( immediate release) narcotics to prevent the abuse and deaths occurring. I wonder how that is going to work as naltrexone, if taken too soon after stopping a narcotic, will put you into precipitated withdrawls. What are they thinking??! SMH!!!

I have just moved to flint....I am in need of a doctor that is willing to prescribe pain meds...I do know of a pharmacy about 20 minutes away that has made my life so much easier....on the very rare occasion that they are of stock for anything, they order it and have it there within 48 hours. they really always seem to have whatever meds I bring to them, though.. It is also an amazing wait time....averaging around 10 minutes... please let me know what you know about the doctors in this area and I can give you my pharmacy intel. =)
