Where Can I Fill My Prescription For Methadone In Houston

I live in Houston, TX (77092 area) and have called major, "mom and pop", even obscure pharmacies. I can NOT find a place that carries methadone! (10 mg. 120 ct.) I am so frustrated! Can anybody tell me where to look? I lived in League City, south of Houston, before and they carried it AND my other script (Norco 10/325) at the local Walgreens. But I can't find a Walgreens IN Houston that carries Methadone. Help!

The problem is that you're calling the pharmacies. When you do that and are asking about a controlled substance like this, you are not going to get an honest answer. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. The only way to get an accurate answer is by actually going to the pharmacies, with your prescription in hand.

The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Can anyone recommend a pharmacy in that area?

Verwon, Thanks for your response. Part of my problem is that I am disabled and unable to drive directly to potential pharmacies individually.
So I have to seek out answers via phone calls.
My sister had to drive me almost 80 miles round trip yesterday just to go to my old pharmacy so I could get my refill.
And I don't travel well these days.

The problem probably is that you're calling but I have one pharmacy you can try. I know its a hell of a drive but its called Tomball Health Mart. And you may not be able to get all 120 at once but if you turn in your script to them then they'll order what they don't have. Call and ask. Good luck and let me know how they responded, it seems like Houston wants ppl on Methadone to do the clinic thing. I disagree w this but thats what it seems is happening.
