When Well All Of The Affects Of Tramadol Be Over

I have taken tramadol for over a year for a medical condition that I have and someone stole my bottle on Friday morning so haven't had any since and now I see my body is dependent on it so I have decided not to take it anymore how Long well it take for my body to a just with out having it in my system cuz I feel deathly ill and what some things I can do that well help me feel better....Thank you

Hi Brian,

Sorry to hear about your meds getting stolen. It's sad what some people will try to do for a little relief. Hopefully you can talk to your doctor about getting some help with the tapering process though. From what I understand, tramadol withdrawals can be pretty severe if you're going cold-turkey.

I wish there was a more accurate way of knowing how long the side effects can last for. Unfortunately this is just one of those things you have to wait out until your body has completely detoxed from the medication.

In the meantime it may be best to load up on nutrient dense fruits and vegetables, natural sleep remedies, and any other means to help combat some of the symptoms you may encounter during a withdrawal period.
