When To Start Lomedia
UpdatedI was prescribed Lomedia by my gynecologist. But my problem now is that i dont know when to start... I took Loestrin before and I could start any day.. i didnt have to wait for my period to take them. So i dont know know if i can do the same with Lomedia because that is not in the instructions. Also the reason i dont want to wait for my period to start them is because i ha e irregular periods.. sometines every 2 months or more. So if someone knows please help me... id really appreciate it

Hello, Christy! How are you?
Yes, you can start them the same way. You'll just need to take them for a full 7 days, before they are effective at preventing pregnancy. Thus, if you are engaging in intercourse, you should use some backup method of protection for the first 7 days.
Is there anything else I can help with?
