Hi my wife has severe tooth ache and went to see the doctor. He gave her antibiotic due to the absess the tooth made but said she can only use panado for her tooth and she is pregnant. Panado does not help what else can she take?

Be sure the antibiotics aren't Tetracycline. It can turn the babies teeth yellow when their teeth come in. She may need to see a dentist. It is difficult to treat someone when they're pregnant because there are two patients instead of one. The Panado may work better after she has had several doses of the antibiotic.
