What Pain Medication Works Best Without Bad Withdraws And Not Make Me What To Sleep

I'm on lortab for extreme pain. There not working as long as they use to. I also want a pain medicine that will give me energy. I don't just want to lay around doing nothing. As I cannot do this with three kids. But I also don't want to take a pain medicine that will give me bad withdraws. I do want to try something new. I have been taking lortab 5/500 for about 5 years and I think It's about time I move up. So if anyone can tell me about a pain medicine that works good for pain and also gives you energy without bad withdraws I would thank you.

I can't really tell you if another drug will help you or not; medications can affect everyone differently, some people get great results from taking, but there are others that it doesn't work for, the only way to find out is to actually try it.

NOTE: In the link above you'll see that Lortab/Vicodin (5-500mg) is ranked on the list among the moderately strong prescription pain killers. Based on that I would suggest maybe trying out something right below Lortab on the strength-scale, if you don't want it to effect you quite as much.

Hopefully someone else on here with more personal experience can offer some advice as well.
