Verwon. I am doing alright. I have serious problems taking "HEAVY DUTY" drugs. I heard Talwin NX was being discontinued. My doctor put me on Norco. Whoa! The games began. Seriously allergic to it. Had to go off of it. Same with Vicodan, Demerol, Percocet, Tylenol with Codiene. So very many. I went through three sugeries with NO PAIN MEDS. AT ALL!!!!

The only other drug I could take was Talacen and it to was discontinued.

Are you having a problem with the Talwin NX?

Suboxone is similar, though it's most commonly used to treat drug addiction, but it contains the narcotic Buprenorphine coupled with Naloxone.

The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It also carries the risk of being habit forming.

Does anyone know of any other options?
