What Is Use Of Progesterone Tablet 200mg

As I missed my periods for 13 days. I went to hospital but HCG test got negative. So doctor gave me sustain progesterone 200mg 10tablets and told me to stop. Before I was been taking treatment for PCOS. I didn't missed my period before.
I'm in confusion. May I know the correct reason for what the doctor given me that tablets..? She din't tested me by scanning..

Your periods are usually induced by a sudden drop in the amount of progesterone that your body produces, if you are not producing enough, then it could cause a hormonal imbalance, which may cause you to miss your period. By supplementing it, then having you stop, it may induce a period and get your hormone levels back on track to have normal periods, again.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms.

Has there been any change?

Progesteon sustaibed release tabets 200 mainy 20 din ke bhad liya hai or egg size 18 mm ka hai or may 20 din bhad hcg kiya hai or Dr nay psrt 200 diya hai .tabets ka use kish ki liya hai .or egg jo hcg may futa gaya hai .fadha bataya.
