This contains the active ingredient Amitriptyline, it is a tricyclic antidepressant.
I really can't tell you if her dosage is safe or not, since you did not specify the dosage of the ones she is taking. It is available in doses ranging from 10mgs up to 100mgs.
Has her doctor instructed her to take 2 of them?
It can cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, weight gain and headache.
