It really depends on what is causing the pain. This medication contains the active ingredient Pregabalin and it is generally only helpful at preventing seizures, some mood disorders and nerve pain. Thus, if the pain is due to some other cause, it will not help.
The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings and weight gain.
