What Is The Use Of Gabaneuron

I am 73 and have been diagnosed with disc prolapse stenosis L1-L5. I had severe sciatica some 30 yrs ago and was treated with Ayrvedic Thailams and it was controlled. Five yrs ago the problem resurfaced in severity and after Ayurvedic treatmemt failed an Epidural inj was give. Combined with regular exercise I have been doing fine since 5 yrs. More recently I have had burning sensation starting from hip to the left flank of thigh and knee. I have been on GABANEORON 300mg NT10mg for a month (2per day). There is relief but how long should I take it? I take 75 mg Ecosprin in the morning and 10 Mg Statin after Dinner and 500 mg mythlcobol daily. I still do exercises, physical therapy and go for a 4 km walk.

Gabaneuron is listed as containing Gabapentin and Methylcobalamin, it is used to treat nerve pain and support nerve health. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, dry mouth and weight gain.

However, only you and your doctor can decide how long it is appropriate for you to take it.

Regarding your pain, you may want to look into the statin medication as possibly causing or aggravating some of it. This class of medications are well known to cause joint and muscle aches as side effects in many people that take it.
