What Is The Exact Dosage Of Ambroxol For My 8 Month Old Baby
UpdatedMy 8 month old baby often suffers from a cough and my pediatrician gave me ambroxol for him to take twice a day (2.5ml for each dose). My baby's weight is 8 kg. Is the dose given by my doctor advisable?

You should follow your doctor's instructions. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and expelling of mucous.
Is your baby on any other medications? How often does the coughing occur? How severe is it? Is it a dry, or productive cough?
