my Dr has changed my medication fron norco to percocet, and now my feet and ankles are swelling severely. What is the difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone?

How about you learn what you're talking about. First it is oxycodone not oxicodone and it's oxycontin not oxiicottin. I'm not sure where your brain went but you need to get a refund ticket for the brain your borrowing... I wish people would understand the right terms.

PERCOCET IS FROM MY KNOWLEDGE OXYCODONE MIXED WITH A DRUG LIKE ASPRIN,TYLENOL ETC. HYDROCODONE IS A SIMILIAR OPIATE MIXED WITH TYLENOL. PERCOCET IS DOSE I,E 10 MG PERCOCET IS STRONGER THAN A 10 MG HYDROCODONE AND PERCOCET IS I AM TOLD MORE PRONE TO ADDICTION BECAUSE IT IS IMMEDIATE RELEASE OXYNCONTIN WHICH IS SO POPULAR IN THE PAIN PILL WORLD. SOMETIMES PRESCRIBED IN HIGH DOSES LIKE 80 MG AND TOLD TO TAKE WHOLE DO NOT CRUSH CHEW ETC BECAUSE YOU GET A VERY HIGH DOSE OF THE MEDICATION RELEASED IMMEDIATELY, COULD BE FATAL.
