I was taking metoprolol 25 and last time it was a new script it is metoprol 25. Pills are different shapes. However after two weeks I have began having a lot of swelling.

However, I really can't tell you anything about them from what you've included in your post. In theory they should be the same, but I can't really say without knowing more information.
What are the markings on them? That is what would enable me to double check them for you.
