I take verapamil 120mg er and refilled the medication.

Hi Michael,

ER stands for extended release. Extended release basically means that the drug dissolves over time in order to be released into the bloodstream at a slower and steadier rate. This allows the medication to be taken less frequently than an immediate release medication (IR).

I'm not sure about the abbreviation HER, maybe you can check with you pharmacy regarding that?

You can learn more about this drug on the page for Verapamil Details

I hope this helps!
