I take generic Sinemet 25/100. What is the difference between Rytary and Sinemet, besides price?

There is no different, both the CR and ER just designate them as being time released formulation of the medication, according to the NIH, otherwise, the active ingredients and the way they act in the body are the same.

If one is too expensive, there is no harm in trying the cheaper versions, all are still approved by the FDA. The typical side effects of this medication are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, rash, hiccups, and weight changes.
