What Is Synaleve Used For

I keep getting this pain under my shoulder blade that extends down to my right elbow. it is sometimes so excruciating, that I want to cry. the pain can last for many weeks at a time. I have been on traction and for Physiotherapy for this, but every two years or so it starts again. What is the best treatment for this. I am 63 and still working Physically. The pain does not inhibit my functionality at all but just there. I am taking Synaleve which seems to have no effect at all.
