Pantocid is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by your stomach to treat, or prevent conditions such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis.

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, and stomach pain.
