What Is Nitrofur Macr 100 Mg Used To Treat

Just finished 500mg amoxicyillin for tooth infection. It's still here, but now also have a UTI. Prescribed macrobid 100mg. I'm now concerned that I have a major infection brewing. Will this help?

It is most commonly used to treat UTIs. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

There's a chance that some bacteria just traveled through your digestive tract from your mouth to your bladder, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a major infection.

Thank you for the prompt reply! Yes, I think some of the bacteria did travel. I guess what concerned me is that I got the UTI while already taking an antibiotic. I just hope that the macrobid will do the job for all of the bacteria! I did read about the side effects, and making sure that I take it on a full stomach, and making sure I get my probiotics.
