As long as they have both been prescribed for you. Several medications are often prescribed to help bring someone's blood pressure down as fast, and safely as possibly. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Are you on any other medications? How high was your blood pressure?
