Went to doctor for migraine headaches.She told me I had high blood pressure but no one in my family has ever had that checked every day for two weeks different times of the day every time I checked the machine always told me my blood pressure was fair. Went back to see the doctor but still she insisted that I had high blood pressure and prescribed Hydochlorot 25mg. My husband went to see the same doctor and she told him he had high blood pressure. Now my husband has seen 5 other doctors and they all say he doesn't. Do I take the pills she prescribed and believe that is what is causing my migraine or do I change doctors?

What levels did you see, when you checked it, that you describe as fair?
What were your husband's levels, when she said he had hypertension?
When in doubt, always get a second opinion. I used to get headaches from blood pressure spikes, which I didn't know where happening, so it is possible, but having it checked out by someone else would be a good idea, in most cases.
