What Is Equivalent To 30mg Oxycodone

Hello, My name is mark. my doctor said that the new drug laws only allow for 200 mg of a opioid daily. I currently am on 4-30mg oxycodone and 2- 30mg 30mg morphine sulphate. He say's that he is going to have to remove 1 30mg of the morphine because it add's up to 220 mg daily.This makes no since to me because I take 1 long term in the morning and before bed I take the second, Is my doctor correct,becouse that means I will have nothing in the morning which will increase my pain level thru out the day?

The new directives from the DEA are supposed to be the equivalent of no more than 120mgs of Morphine a day, though some states have lowered that further to no more than the equivalent of 100mgs, thus your doctor really has no choice, sadly enough.

Have you ever tried Fentanyl? You may want to ask your doctor about it. It's a very potent opiate in a patch that is time released over a period of 48 to 72 hours.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there any help with paying for oxycontin 30 mg? My doctor just raised the quantity of Oxycontin to 3 tabs. I went to fill it and it cost 749 dollars. I almost died, I have been on this medication for 15 yrs and my union covered it. What alternative do I have?

That is going on all over our country!! The DEA and Ins companies don't want people taking it anymore. My ins just sent a letter saying they will not pay for it anymore but they would pay for Xtampia ER ms contin fentynyl opana er so basically anything but Oxycontin

Ask your pharmacy about the generic brand. They just came out with the generic this summer. It seems to work about the same. It should save you some money.
