What Is Amox Clav 500mg Used For

May i take it for a UTI? It expired 2014.

Unless a specific bacteria is detected that can be treated by this medication, it is not usually the preferred on to treat a UTI. The one normally used most often is Nitrofurantoin, so it would be best to see your doctor and let them prescribe an appropriate antibiotic.

The FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
