What Is Amneal Pha Pill

I have an amneal pha pill, Smg / TMP DS 800- 160m. I was just diagnosed with chlamydia and came in for a recheck due to a symptom coming back. I have the feeling of a sore throat and I think its from doing oral with my partner. Will taking this pill help with my throat at least until my results come back from my doc?

It will only help, if your sore throat is due to a bacterial infection, of some type. It is an antibiotic. Inappropriate use risks your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Additionally, it won't do anything to alleviate the pain and soreness.

You would be best served to wait, until you get your test results and allow your doctor to decide the appropriate treatment, if any is deemed necessary.
