I have a huge Sty under my eye . The doctor prescribe me this med SULFAMETHOXAZOLE/ TRIMETHOPRIM800/160Tabs. Would this help my problem??

A stye is usually caused by an infection of the sebaceous glands at the base of the eyelashes, or an infection of the sweat glands, so yes, an antibiotic may help.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
