That just stands for tablet. Doctor's sometimes designate such on a prescription, to make sure their patient receives one specific form. For instance, they may specify that they be given tablets only, if they want them to be able to divide the dosage, if necessary, since that cannot be done with capsules.

The FDA classifies this as an iron supplement and lists its most common side effects as being dark stool and constipation.
