Hi Merlinda,
Fake pills can actually be pressed to look identical to the real thing. So going off a description alone isn't enough in my opinion. It's unfortunate that counterfeits have gotten this good at tricking the population. But having said that, I think the only way to truly protect yourself from fakes is make sure you fill your prescription at a licensed pharmacy.
I hope you're able to find a caring doctor who can help provide what is needed.
