What Doctor In South Ms Will Prescribe Klonopin

My doctor recently took me off Klonopin cold turkey because I was in a car wreck and have to have pain meds and he can't prescribe both so I need to find a doctor asap that will prescribe Klonopin or an even stronger benzo. I've been on benzodiazepines since I was 16 years old and quitting cold turkey could kill me and I need to find a doctor that will prescribe Klonopin because I can't afford a psychiatrist and have no insurance. Does anyone know a doctor in south Mississippi besides Memorial Family Clinic in escatawpa that will prescribe me Klonopin or benzodiazepines?

There is no way to guarantee that any given doctor will prescribe it, just because you want them to do so, especially if you are also on pain medications. Most general practitioners are very reluctant to do so, because of new DEA guidelines.

The FDA reports that Klonopin carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

Quitting cold turkey can create the risk of your experiencing seizures, which can sometimes be dangerous, but are rarely fatal.

Generally, the best thing to do, when you see a new doctor is to avoid asking them for a specific medication, but make sure they receive a full copy of your medical records and let them make suggestions accordingly. Though you should be aware that doing so could cause your current doctor to drop you entirely.
