Hello, Connie! How are you?
If it's causing that much of a weight gain, you may be better off switching off of this, because regardless of what else you take to lose it, it's really not going to help much, as long as the root cause is still there.
Have you consulted your doctor? You may do better with a medication that isn't known to cause as much weight gain.
The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, stomach pain and hypotension.
