What country is corepharma located in.I was told that it was not in the United States that it was from China because I've had problems with that brand ever since they came out it was something about thatgeneric brand that does not work for me could you please tell me if the actual brand name Adderall Works any better is it you don't compete in comparison to the pink Adderall or any other Adderall forms is the actual brand name vs. generic does it is it better

Hi Jenna,

The Corepharma generic adderall is manufactured in India. The company who distributes it is Impax. If you goto dailymed.com and research Amphetamine it will pull up all the current manufacturers of amphetamine medications.

With that being said since 2012 this particular generic has been terrible. It is as if they don't put in any active ingredients or very little.

I have read anecdotal reports from others that this generic is very hit and miss in quality. From what I have read this year the only positive reports have come from back East in the New England area in 2016.

All I can tell you is from this: from 2009 to 2011 Corepharma used to be my favorite generic. It used to provide a consistent focus, motivation to start and complete tasks, improved verbal communication, a little energy, and a positive mental attitude.

Since late December 2012 (after the great amphetamine shortage) to November 2016 I have had 14 refills out here in Arizona and not once has it worked properly. All I feel from it is either nothing at all, or headache and mild lethargy.

Meanwhile the other generics still feel the same.

The current available brands/generic forms of adderall are:

Corepharma/Impax

Teva/Barr

Sun Pharmaceuticals/Mutual Pharmaceuticals

Mallinckrodt

Aurobindo

Mylan

Sandoz/Eon which many considered the best has been discontinued in 2016 by Sandoz. However the manufacturer who made it for Sandoz is located in the USA called Epic Pharma LLC. It's possible this version may come back in the future pending another distributor steps forward to market it.

At this juncture none of the aforementioned generics are consistent from Lot to Lot. Until the FDA steps in and slaps some hands the instant release forms of adderall will continue to be wildly inconsistent.

The only brand name form of adderall is available as an XR formulation. The brand is called Shire. The good news is Sandoz is now marketing an authorized generic XR manufactured by Shire. This would be the least expensive way to get the brand XR formula without breaking the bank.

Furthermore there are several other manufacturers of the XR formula which will be different from the brand.

Impax recently won approval to market an XR version but it has over 20 inactive ingredients which is crazy!

Teva recently bought out Actavis and is rumored to be marketing that generic XR for 2017.

In conclusion.... It is the Wild Wild West right now for all forms of IR (Instant Release) tablets of adderall..... and as the patent continues to run out on the XR formula more and more players will be marketing different formulations of it.

So the bottom line is you will have to test all of the IR tablet brands to find out if one works well for you... Or dive in and test out the expensive Brand or authorized XR form of adderall to see if it works for you.

Oh my. My first adderall was from Core Pharma llc.. 20 mgs, 3 a day worked, now Kroger switched to Auribindo. A peach, powdery non active pill...coffee 1 has more pick up than any meds of that company.. It's unfair it's sold as an equivalent.
