I am in the hospital and they just told me I tested positive for meth. I have NEVER did meth in my life! My meds are norvasc, atenenol, omeprezole, clonopin, fluticasone propionate, phenergen and dimetap a week ago. In the hospital they have gave me ativan, norvasc, clonozepam, lortab? What would cause this false positive?

Poppy seeds, did you have s poppy seed bagel? Poppyseeds are said to cause a positive test. I was told by my dr not to eat poppy seeds before blood tests.
