What Can You Use For Ringworms Fungus Ip272

I got a ringworm on my chest from a child that had one on its head. I used tincain foot cream and it cleared up, but I stopped using it now and I see little ones coming back. I was told to take an antibiotic, does this help or hurt?

No, an antibiotic will not treat ringworm. It is caused by a fungus, so it requires an antifungal to eradicate it, according to the NIH.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain.
