Hi Drakee,

Is there anyway you can return to the same doctor who's been prescribing this to you for the past 9 months, and let him know what's really going on with your increased risk for withdrawals? I believe most (if not all) doctors should have a clear understanding that if you stop taking hydrocodone too abruptly or if you were to decrease your dosage too soon, it could induce serious withdrawal symptoms.

A refill of two days worth just doesn't seem like an appropriate call on their part. But I suppose if all else fails, there are various approaches that doctors may be able to help with, in so far as lessening the severity or onset of withdrawal symptoms that could potentially be more difficult to endure otherwise.

Nowadays, plant-based alternatives like Kratom are also commonly used for physical symptoms of opiate withdrawal. However, some people say that it doesn't help quite as much with cravings or depression that may be associated with it.
