Most blood pressure medications can cause weight gain, as a side effect, according the FDA, though it's usually only about 10lbs, or so.
Lovastatin is used to help lower cholesterol and its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, joint/muscle aches and flatulence.
Which blood pressure medications do you take?
