Went Off Thyroid Meds Feeling Really Sick

I stopped taking my thyroid meds two weeks ago cause dont have the money for them o was on 75 mg levothrox i feel shakey tired aggitated angry chest hurts throat sore. Amd feel large very tired my blood pressure is also high could it be from this its only been two weeks .

Yes, those symptoms could be from going off of the medication, as well as the fact that your thyroid is now left to be out of control.

You may also experience nausea, chills and diarrhea, as listed by the FDA.

How high is your blood pressure? That could be dangerous, so you need to see a doctor to have it checked it out and rectify this situation.

I was on the same med and i was so sick and kept blaming it on other things until i did lots of research and found out that that is common... I found out natural thyroid medication like armour and wp thyroid are good choices to switch too that will not cause such terrible side effects.... i suggest finding a endo or a dr that will prescribe a natural med like wp thyroid or amour as those will help you feel much better... google it and you will read lots and lots about switching and why switching is better for people then synthroid etc.... good luck. I feel 100000000 times better since switching....
