Wellbutrin Cause Trembles??

I accidentally doubled my dose of wellbutrin and now I am shaking. I've had several hours of trembly hands. Does anybody know if this is common? And how long will the nervous shakes last?

Hello, Jonah! How are you? Did you experience any other adverse symptoms?

Yes, Wellbutrin has been known to cause that type of side effect even at lower doses, in some people that take it, as listed by the FDA. Other side effects may also include nausea, dizziness, nervousness and insomnia.

I tried it once for smoking cessation and I had to stop taking it due to the trembling and nervousness it caused.

It's difficult to say how long they may last, it really depends on your body.

If it worsens, or if you start to experience more symptoms, you should seek medical attention.
