I have been drinking & taking warfarin for over 1 year now pretty much nightly & have been keeping my INR 99% of the time where it is suppose to be? So what is the big Hype about not drinking or only 2 in 1 week period?

Hello, Terri! How are you?

Alcohol can also cause blood thinning, so for people with a very touchy INR that rarely remains stable, it could be very dangerous for them to drink.

Learn more Warfarin details here.

My dad always liked just one beer a day and he's also been on it for years, but his doctor never worried about it, because his INR usually stayed pretty stable and near where it should be.

Are there any other questions or concerns?
