Ovulation usually occurs the 14th or 15th day of your cycle, so if these induce a period, it would be about 2 weeks from that day. However, there is no guarantee that you will ovulate, even if these work to induce a period.
The FDA classifies this medication as being a hormonal supplement and lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.
