Wanting Peroid To End After 3 Weeks

I've had the jadelle for almost two months now, and I've had my period for like 3 weeks now, it's not heavy and won't even fill a pad in a day. I was just wondering when it will stop as it's annoying. I just want it to end and am seriously considering getting them reremoved as I don't want my period to last this long every time. It's been almost a month and I am worried it won't ever end. Has anyone experienced this and how you you get it to stop.

That is a possible side effect of Jadelle, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms.

It may stop, after about 3 months, or so, or it may continue, there's no way to say for sure. Most doctors will prescribe an oral birth control pill to help balance your hormones and stop the bleeding, while your body is adjusting to the Jadelle.
