My boyfriend has been on vyvanse for 8 months. Then his new doctor took him off of them and put him on a depression med. All he wants to do is sleep. He doesn't clean or anything any more. He said he wants his life back but he doesn't know what to say to his doctor to get them back.

Hello, Ana! How is your boyfriend doing? How long ago was the change to his medications made?
He could be experiencing withdrawal effects from stopping the Vyvanse, since it's a stimulant, as well as side effects from starting the antidepressant. He may just need to wait a few weeks for his body to adjust, unless his doctor feels otherwise.
Other symptoms, as listed by the FDA, may include dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes.
