Viibryd 5 Mg

Hello I was on effexor xr 75 mg for 5 years then went to celexa 20mg for a month. Then decided to go cold turkey lasted 2 months. Psychiatrist put me on 20mg of prozac which almost drove me crazy lasted 2 weeks. Then started viibryd 10mg for 2 weeks felt really dizzy and wobbly on my legs.. I also feel when I close my eyes I'm on a rocking boat. I'm currently on 5mg i got changed psychiatrist and he mentioned viibryd is not on his list of medications so I might be switched again. Part of me feels like it could still be withdrawals from effexor... any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello, Henry! How are you feeling? I'm sorry about the problems that you've been having.

After several months, you shouldn't be experiencing withdrawals from the Effexor, they don't usually last that long.

However, the symptoms you've described can all be side effects of starting these types of medications. They can sometimes be pretty bad for the first 3 weeks, or so, but then they should taper off and improve. You may also experience dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes.

Did he make a suggestion as to what he may want you to switch to?
