Vicodin contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone and like most other narcotics, the Hydrocodone is usually detectable for approximately 5 days, after taking it.

This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth.

If you have a prescription for it, then there is no need to worry, you just need to make sure you inform them of that, when you go in for testing.
