Vicodon contains the active ingredients Hydrocodone, and Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever, that is used to treat moderate to severe pain.
The current minimum dosage is 2.5mgs of Hydrocoodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, and the maximum contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen.
The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, but it doesn't occur as often is you only take it as prescribed, and are being monitored regularly by your doctor. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
