Vi Bact Ds Used For

my daughter 19 yrs old is suffering from loose motions like water for 2 days and she has been advised to take vi bact ds capsuels and she has taken 4 capsules in 28 hrs but loodr motions not controlled. It may please be specified whether the medicine controls /is used for the said problem
