my 14 month old is coughing and has runny nose. I am giving her 1 ml of nasatapp for the cold and i found salbutamol guaifenesin ventolin expectorant 1mg/50 mg per 5 ml syrup in the medicine cabinet with no literature on the box. Can i give it for the cough? If so what will be the appropriate dosage for my 14 month old baby. I think this med was prescribed to her while i was out of the country 5 months ago.

is ventolin expectorant good for person who are bedridden but with mucous secretions? They have poor cough reflex. is it advisable still to give it to them? please... I need your quick reply. thank you.
