Valparin 200 Syrup Side Effects In 18 Month Old Baby

I m giving valparin 200syrup to my 18month old baby as he is diagnosed with abmormal EEG.i want to know side effect of this medicine.

The U.S FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, personality changes and weight changes.

However, please do not discontinue it, without the doctor's approval, as the seizures could be far more dangerous.

Now again on 2nd july my son EEG was done but it was normal. Should i continue giving valparin200 to my son now he is 2yrs old
