It depends on what type of vaginal bacteria is being treated. Yeast infections are not usually transmitted and neither are all cases of bacterial vaginosis.
If your taking Flagyl, that is an antibiotic that's used to treat bacterial infections and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and diarrhea.
